What's stopping Kirby from throwing a heart and winning?

I´ve heard he has a passive wall that protects from that sort of attacks or something like that, but I´m not sure.

I didn't really like Zexal in all honesty, but that's not why I think Kirby wins. Kirby has way too many options to use against Dark Mist. Honestly, Dark Mist is practically equivalent to any of the final bosses Kirby has faced previously.
