if it didn't phase through their body there would be gaping holes where their chests should be though. If it burned through their chest without any dura neg or phasing, Oven, alongside every other person hit, would have massive open chest wounds. Which...isn't the case.

That's a hole in his shirt that got burned from the heat.

Look in the top left panel. There's no visible hole anywhere on his chest, just some burns.

If this wasn't durability negation, that means that Oven and the other Charlotte siblings were impaled like Ace was, with a hole in their torsos.
We see that this isn't the case here:

There's no hole. It never made a hole in his flesh. It burned THROUGH his body. Leaving burn marks on his chest.

If I'm being honest:
One: Oven seemingly got shot in the shoulder, in that shot not only is his full body not shown but his hand is covering his shoulder in it.
Two: This is the same manga were Lucci put a hole in Sentomaru's stomach and a few chapters later we see no hole in it and his clothes aren't even ripped.
So yeah, Oda's weird like that.

Oven was shot in the chest. We see that in the panel, and even later on in the chapter, we see a burn mark on his chest.

Kizaru's lasers impale, causing an external bleed as well.
Ichiji's only burns the inside and outside without making an external bleed.
They're both durability negation, but in different ways.
