Prototype speed inconsistency and profile clean up

There's a large speed discrepancy between Alex Mercer in the first game and James Heller in the second game. Alex is said to have hypersonic reactions for performing feats which Heller is also able to perform in the second game. Alex's speed section makes little sense as it has two tabs dedicated to the first game instead of one, his third tab scales him to a prototype two character and then proceeds to have a seperate tab arguing his speed should be higher because hes more powerful in the second game which is confusing and makes little sense. He should only have two tabs to begin with not four. It also puts his combat speed at supersonic whilst arguing previously that he already has hypersonic reactions in the first game which he is superior to in the second.

Heller scales to Mercer in everyway as he defeats him at the end of the second game and consumes him, giving him all of Mercers powers and he would have had the of been similar in speed to be able to contend.

TL;DR

Mercer's profile needs a cleanup and either Mercer or Heller needs to have their speed decreased or increased respectively.
 
So, what you're asking is that Alex's speed is:

At least Subsonic with Hypersonic reactions (reasons)|At least Supersonic with Hypersonic reactions (reasons), likely Higher (Faster in Prototype 2)? I mean, we can change the third reason, "Faster in Prototype 2" to "Consumed 8 Evolved whole", if that is a better reason.

Powers from Mercer to Heller: I don't know, probably?
 
I think that this seems to make sense.
 
That makes a lot more sense than what the profile was when I made this thread. In this case Heller also needs to be given hypersonic reactions likely higher for consuming Mercer.
 
Alright then.

Heller's speed would be:

At least Supersonic (reasons) with Hypersonic reactions (reasons)|Likely Higher (Consumed what's left of Evolved Alex Mercer)
 
Yeah that seems about right. After playing the games, Hop knows that this is probably as close to accurate as we can get. After the 2nd game, Heller is greater than what Mercer was in all statistical aspects, excluding experience.

I suppose so. As long as it is rasonably tasteful, characteristic, and othervise appropriate.
 
There wasn't many quotes and those other quotes didn't seem that good but, here's what I found:

It's alright this thread is resolved really anyway. I have no knowledge of the comics tho so i cant really say anything about the tabs.
 
We can change striking strength from GJ+ to PJ since both James and P2 Alex are City level and have both their combat speed become Hypersonic
 
They were only that level upon unleashing all that biomass (using them all up in the process). So I'm a wee bit unsure of using that to buff them up to that level.
 
It's a really one time thing yeah. It doesn't help that once you use a Devastator, you lose the biomass you used for that chunk of the attack.
 
Though even without devastators they can pretty much harm each other and hypersonic combat speed could pretty much work due to them not perfectly reacting to each others attacks
 
Meh, I'd say "at least Town Level, likely City Level for potency since James did hurt Alex who survived the water-ed nuke and got stronger after 14 months of still cleaning up New York and consumingl 9 Evolved. For Alex, it should be the same as James since they're giving off similar blows and Mercer did two-shot James once half-way through the game.

Combat speed should hypersonic since Alex had to jump 9ver the shockwave, which is around 2 storeys high.
 
For James there could be like a pre consuming mercer and post/end game

Hey asdtgh, haven't seen you in awhile.

And not siding with that upgrade, he's only potentially City.

That's not even a notable dodging feat tbh. I still don't understand why that's being claimed as supersonic or hypersonic. Even tanks could back off a bit before they get hit.

Regardless nothing really makes it hypersonic.... And if that was the case then Alex outrunning it could be a GM too since it seems to be recommended that you frequently go up the buildings and hide from the attacks. Or jump over.
 
@COB Yeah, it's been a while. I don't know about the attack potency thing so, whatever. But for the hypersonic thing, it should be because she did push out, what should be, a sum of biomass around her at speeds high enough to shatter buildings or even hurt Alex, who tanks the whole military base stuff.

Plus, Roland did make a sonic boom and he's a common enemy out of many while Alex had much more time of biomass than he has, since the streaks of light Mercer made is brighter and longer than Roland which may show the difference between their speeds.

It doesn't instantly mean that she's expelling biomass at that speed. It could be much more dense or just a shockwave. If that was hypersonic then enemy troopers could be hypersonic too. It could be just unleashed with much more density. Besides it looks more like a shockwave.

The sonic boom didn't have any windows breaking and look more like an aerial dash effect. Also they consume biomass to get more strength and well biomass. It doesn't immediately add up to speed.
 
But hey, same for the Militia, since they will try to run away from Cole's Amp attacks, which they sometimes do. Betrand even have two normal Militia soldiers to try and fire him in a caged but open place with plenty of covers until Zeke arrives. Plus, I might say the same for Overwatch. Somehow a bunch of street thugs are able to react to Soldier 76 who's HHS+.

Still a feat because what about Dante from the bad DMC? He had to Angel Boost across Limbo and somehow the glass of screwed up walls behind him didn't break and it did in the cinematic but I don't know. Don't matter to me anyway because I'm not into VS Battle Wiki that much since my blogs are not good enough to be accepted anyway so, doesn't matter for me about this.
 
Fair points, I am making use of gameplay mechanics here. Although I'm gonna have to argue, the exact reason why Cole made it through that was because of said supersonic reactions and how he dodged them since noticeably the cover breaks easily. Also that can't really compare to when in the comics he legitimately dodged gunfire while in the middle of the fight while standing still.

But see the issue here? Where else does that come from? Where else does the hypersonic or supersonic feat even come from aside from the speculation that it's biomass, and wouldn't that be contradictory to how she loses no health or how in theory it's more likely to be the shockwave attacks Alex is so fond of using? There's nothing else really backing the statement of Greene's power being something that expels anything above Mach speeds, since we already see bullets shooting out.

You got and made Alex and James stay in supersonic. It's clear you're doing something right. The problem just lies how the only fans of Prototype aren't as active and we're on two sides of a coin, kinda opposing each other.

Correct that it did break the glass since I did say about the cinematic. What I'm implying is, if sonic booms are suppose to shatter glass, why did that not also happen in cutscenes where Dante was suppose to Angel Boost to like in Limbo where there are glass on buildings used as platforms? It probably might be because they don't want things like that to be consistent, possibly adding on to the budget but, whatever again.

I did go for TF2 and I found weapons that should've upgraded the mercenaries of that game yet, I still get nothing out of what I did so, what's the point?
