Rick vs. Goku

UI is essentially movement without thinking, speed equalized isn't going to help Rick if he has to think (and therefore waste time) to press a button to end a match.

UI?

@Aguila Speed equalized still equalizes speed even under those conditions

Goku could easily one-shot with proyectiles, but as far as I remember Rick is Universe level+ for destroying a Timeline instead of sheer power, I dont know If that would make a stomp in Rick's favor.

Give rick a year of prep, a guy who is a supergenius and has inventions which gives him transmutation, matter manipulation, size manipulation, death manipulation, memory manipulation etc, goku's chancing of winning don't look too good.
I'd just like to point out that death manipulation requires physical touch and memory manipulation is a laser that goku can dodge. Not saying Goku wins just saying I don't think this is a stomp.

why are the speeds always equalized?

I'm genuinely currious. You'd think the most important characteristic in a fight would get considered first.

then what's the point of debate then? when the character wins by a wide margin?

I feel this does characters like flash dirty.

and from what I've seen when someone checks out a profile here and sees a win they want to see they come spouting that while ignoring the speed equalized note on the side.

To debate without acknowledging the speed so there actually is a debate.

Yeah well that's people for you

Because Rick is just an old man with speed that, at best, is just slightly above the average human speed. He has a Massively FTL+ spaceship but he won't reach it before he gets burnt to a crisp
