There was yellow lighting around the shield. When Oscar did his shield before, it was pure green. The Long Memory was stated to release kinetic energy, but I don’t know if that also amped up the shield.

can we talk about the rwby x dc comics? It can be reasonably assumed that jessica can travel interplanetary distances in relatively short amounts of time at the bare minimum. It's stated that she's responsible for an entire section of existence and chased starro across vast distances in space. Team rwby and co scale to her at least in terms of combst and reaction speed. On another note team rwby and co scale to Oscar's magic within reason. We should also talk about rwby chibi

This has been bothering me for a long time. Shouldn't the curious cat,the jabberwalker and the crossovers and chibi versions of the rwby characters (especially penny and ruby) have profiles? Surely we have enough for even a basic profile. I would also like to talk more about the LS evidence for rwby even through it's thorough. A lot of people don't consider LS-FTL rwby legitimate despite it's overwhelming evidence. Are there multiple calculations for the blocking and dodging of lasers from ruby in the rwby x justice league crossover movies part two aside from that 42 percent one? I do have multiple videos although there low quality.

I can't say for certain, I'm currently dealing with two back to back car repairs and the extra hours at work needed to pay for them. The best I can say is eventually.

I remember reading that ozpin stopped time briefly multiple times in his fight with cinder in v3 as represented by the blacksmith flashes. This was a reddit post where the op was explaining the fight as the commentary told it. Does anyone know about this or can confirm it? I already know that ozpin can store time and that some people think that was revealed to be him storing kinetic energy and releasing it

We don’t know the method or context. It's possible she did it herself. Mr port seems to imply that it was salem specifically who destroyed vale which was calculated to be the size of a country

On another note,has anyone ever calculated the temperature and amount of thrust that penny can exhibit? I mean she also used her thrusters to help lift amity arena a massive technological colosseum

I think they fumbled the b*mb feat severely lowballing it and used assumptions on speed and distance

Hey does anyone have a good scan of Ruby blitzing someone with her semblance. I know she can just I don’t have a good scene that differs from travel speed a lot and some people are being super sticklers about the difference and I don’t really know how to explain her semblance absolutely effects her combat speed

Ruby's Semblance is first seen in the episode "The First Step, Pt.2", where she suddenly appears with rose petals in her wake before her new partner Weiss Schnee to illustrate she was not slow. (Ruby speed blitzed in front of Weiss and vanished faster then she could see too)
Ruby uses her Semblance in "Ace Operatives" to leap out of the Manta, and later to attack one of the Centinels that ambushes the Huntsmen clearing the abandoned mine. She's even able to catch a falling Dust crystal that Harriet Bree was unable to catch with her Super-Speed.
During the training montage in "Sparks", Ruby engages in speed and reaction time training with Weiss and Hare in the the Atlas Academy training room, with Ruby and Hare directly competing while Weiss attempts to match their speed on a reactionary level by creating glyphs.
In "With Friends Like These" when Team RWBY fight the Ace-Ops, a fugitive Ruby faces off with Hare, whose Super-Speed proves very troublesome for Ruby, forcing the Huntress to continually use her own Semblance to keep up with the Ace-Op's movements. Her Semblance is what allows her to escape from being cuffed by Hare, even turning the tables and making the Ace-Op unable to use her arms to fight. Even then, Ruby still has significant difficulty landing hits, though her ability to stall proves successful when Weiss intervenes and creates an ice wall that Hare runs into at full force, breaking her Aura and resulting in the Ace-Op's defeat.

There's an instance of her using her Semblance to move FTE to Roman Torchwick, who normally has comparable (if not superior) reaction speed to unamped Ruby during Volume 1-3.

I don't think Roman is honestly that comparable. He has Neo for his powerhouse body guard, and his best feats were probably keeping up with Blake and Sun (the former then was able to easily beat him afterwards).
Ruby's petal burst is definitely a relevant travel speed boost honestly, but lowkey don't think it blitzes anyone on her comparative level. They'd still usually be able to keep a track of it

He is very much faster than Ruby, in the novel he was fast enough to humiliate a trio of pro huntsmen on his own in a fight

You saying this like its a flex lol. Keep telling yourself you hate RWBY
the 'pro huntsmen' in this series are a joke lol. Unless theyre relevant characters connected to the story, they're blatantly used as grimm fodder and i wouldn't use them as a benchmark whatsoever. 'Pro Huntsmen' get killed by standard missions, grimm fodder (like the train scene in V6) or even their own inexperienced students (Cinder and her master). If Roman can apparently beat a whole trio of pros (in a prequel novel established after and outside the show), but are struggling with hunstmen-in-training (from the getgo) then you do the math on which one is more reasonable rather than the answer you prefer. None of the characters at this point would be pro-level either despite being the main characters with 'huge potential' realistically
Given how much weaker Roman has been portrayed in the series compared to the actual huntsmen-in-training (on his own and without Neo to tagteam with him), this isnt anything to go by.
This would also bear no relevance to current Ruby or the general speed scaling. As much of a quick boost of speed petal burst is, speedblitzing has never been an active huge wincon in Ruby's fights. I don't see why it would be in a speed equalized scenario. Characters like Mercury too can easily draw a bead on her. The scales will have undoubtedly changed too
Lets PLEASE not kid ourselves. Neo hard carries Roman in all of the fights. He brings a decent offense to the table but theres a reason hes always standing back while hes with her.
