AP potential isnt comparable to the speed. No one is denying Roman can harm Ruby, but trying to use him as an example as to why Ruby would 'blitz' anyone in a speed equalised scenario using petal burst is wrong. Show contradicts it so many times and Ruby's petal burst has never actively been the reason she wins a 1v1 tbh.

You mean the fight where he had Neo to back him up (who to this day, completely washes Ruby in a 1v1) where he plays a supportive marksman role? Roman really isnt a comparable fighter to her whatsoever, a lot of the time he just has the help and the wit to best others.

I don’t agree with a lot of stuff about Rwby. Like anything above 8-A for the main cast and I have been informed the lasers have constantly shown to curve and been floompy on walls. But like, Roman is absolutely comparable to Ruby, he fought her one v one in melee and almost killed her till he was surprise attacked

He didnt fight her 1v1 for long. He teamed with Neo, who was absolutely crucial and allowed him to land the heavy hits. When her umbrealla took her out of the fight then he was drawing a bead on her, but that was literally one hit where Ruby had already been dogged on for the entirety of the Fall of Beacon prior.

And thats outside of Roman getting absolutely embarassed by Blake, and easily overwhelmed and contextually made as a schemer over a fighter. He can fight but I dont think just because Ruby can 'blitz' him (i still havent actually saw this moment tbf, blitzing is probably generous af) back in V1-3 doesnt mean that its grounds to say Ruby's semblance can overwhelmingly speedblitz someone in a speed equalized to the point its a wincon. She uses it for ability and quick teleportation if anything, with a few added niches

Heck this DISPROVES that Roman gets speedblitzed by her. During their v3 fight, he literally was tagging her while she was using her semblance to try and disorientate and approach him. And all he did prior to that and V2 was be locked in a jail cell.
 
You are missing the very simple point. He fought her, and nearly killed her. If he didn’t scale in speed that would make no sense. He’s a bit weaker sure, but he scales in their general ballpark very closely.

Where exactly did he 'nearly kill her'?

That whole beating her down in v3? This was after she just got whooped by them as a duo (with Neo as the offensive presence that sets Roman to get some shots in from long-range), was already tired af during the Fall of Beacon, and was made ot set up Roman's downfall. Roman just got eaten with 0 fight and died lol, adding to inconsistent writing.

Killing her is AP, and doesnt relate to the speed im talking about. What im saying is, just because theres apparenlty an instance of Roman not keeping track of her petal burst immediately, isnt grounds for saying Ruby can 'speedblitz' with her semblance. And yeah, Roman is generally weaker than them. Him beating 'three pro-huntsmen' doesnt really hold any water when hes losing to husntmen-in-training, and there are barely any examples of competent background pro-huntsmen that arent just fodder.
 
This is random but I remembered the commentary in rwby v9 saying that they made it a rule that the curious cat can do whatever a loonytoon character can do (toonforce),so I finally decided to get the evidence. Now obviously it's not on the level of the loonytoons but it should be applicable to the curious cat and by extension the blacksmith and the twin brothers. If you want to see the clip I can give it but not here but in a twitter dm maybe. Also can't we talk about the jessica traveling vast distances in space and being comparable to the main rwby cast? Also I think we should talk about the feats and statements in the rwby promenade book (I have a copy and have done multiple translations through chatgpt,phone and other sites. But to answer the question presented before,ruby also blitzed the curious cat

Should the twin brothers of light and dark get principle manipulation due to their relation and or feats that can be considered as such? How does this site view principle manipulation? Evidence of this is seen in the show and because they can manipulate design (implied by jinn "perfect their own design") I'm just confused on principle manipulation,so I thought that I'll ask here

Is there anything cooking? Maybe we can update the LS laser requirements on the site? I did a lot of research and all of rwby's lasers (not the particle beams) perfectly meet all requirements in light/laser physics and by vs battles standards. Rwby lasers are even perfectly consistent within and across rwby chibi. Maybe we can go over creation feats too? I also have some tempature stuff saved

I definitely think that they scale to their creation feats but with the logic of UES avatar characters would scale to their bending feats in terms of physicality in which they objectively don't.

I really do want to update the LS laser qualifications and disqualifications requirements on this site because some disqualifications on this site are simply wrong based on real laser and light physics in reality. Do I have to post on a certain forum here? I can also link anything if wanted.

I did some research on weiss's dust melding and depending on the method used it could reach temperatures up to 36,000k

Is there anything that your working on or maybe want help with?
 
Is there a way to mathematically prove how strong prime ozma is in terms of magical power? It is an assumption of how many reincarnations he has had but someone calculated it to be 101 reincarnations during a murderofbirds livestream. If we want to go on confirmed reincarnations it should be around 8-12. It's confirmed that ozma leaks magic with age and with each reincarnation and ozma sacrificed more magic to the maidens and brawen twins. If we figure out this number we could could also scale salem to it as she fought along side prime ozma without being a burden and managed to best ozma's first reincarnation in combat (regardless of her immortality)

Like ghost from Marvel can turn herself back into a solid with her powers, Ruby can turn herself and others back into solids after turning into a cloud of Molecules
 
This is Literally just her going back to her original form? Theres no proof it gives her anymore powers and abilities under Self Restoration whatsoever. Its an ability that is completely controlled under her own trigger, and its not been proven to be able to 'restore' her outside of it.

Ppl just wanna give RWBY characters whatever cool-sounding hax they can think of 😭

Also using a character from a separate franchise, that better goes under Intangibility in her case, doesnt mean we give Ruby a completely separate ability
 
If anything its been proven Ruby just automatically has to go back to normal completely independent of whether she wants up to a certain point. She cant just stay in her semblance form forever, as proven in Cordovan's mech fight that it has a limit.
So its not like its even something she needs to properly conciously activate, she just automatically returns to her base form and original composition of molecules

If its just a stage of transforming back into her usual state then it isnt worth noting as a 'self restoration' ability, especially when it doesnt require her to manually revert back.

Fist of the North Star in lightweight? Despite the fact that this its the same verse where every major fighters can make people explode by simply touching a pressure points and even other absurd stuff with their Martial Arts, not to mention that even the fodders like Jagi can tank a country size nuke at near point blank range or Garudo who can punch at the speed of light.

Looks sure he isn't going with the standard powerscale metrics with calculations/multipliers/scaling/statements, but even by his standard First of the North Star shouldn't be put on the same level as Overwatch.

If anything Hunter X Hunter should be a lightweight since the power escalation its more grounded and nowhere near as over the top as other major shonen series like Yu Yu Hakusho, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach or My Hero Academia.

Personally speaking if we had to make this kind of comparations, i think they are mostly comparable to more grounded series like Hunter X Hunter, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Owl House, Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. Or if we compare to setting like DC/Marvel, most major fighters range between upper street level (Captain America and Deathstroke) to lower metahuman level (like Spider-Man or Static), with the strongest begins be Brothers be in the high metahuman/low herald.
