Self-evident intelligence revisions thread

What intelligence rating can be given to a character for being able to reach the killscreen of Pac-Man when they were 3?

You can probably embed links to them in his page in our wiki if you wish, but there is always a big chance that inofficial YouTube videos will be taken down, so gif files are much preferable.

Celestia is labeled as a Genius, but I don't think this is the case. She seems gifted. She's good at gambling, but even she says the key to that is luck. It takes intelligence too, but it's not like it's pure intelligence. She made a good murder plan, even outsmarted Byakuya, but Makoto and Kyoko could see through the plan. There have been so many better trials where the culprit performed and covered up the murders better

Miu was originally but as Average normally, Genius as an inventor. However, I moved her to Above Average normally. She was outsmarted by Kokichi, who's at a higher level of normal intelligence, and an expert at detecting lies, but her plan was good, and even Kokichi said the group would be in trouble had she succeeded. She always guessed the culprits in the trials, and while it was arguably lucky guesses, she did genuinely realize that the wax sculptures in the third case were used as a distraction

I've made a few more changes, specifically to Danganronpa.

Yasuhiro was put at average with no info. However, if you look at his character, it's more complicated. Many danganronpa characters are silly, and seem dumb for that reason, but Yasuhiro actually is dumb normally. He was held back several times, has been scammed into buying a fake crystal ball even though being the ultimate Clairvoyant means he should know better. A segment of the game was dedicated to convincing him that Kyoko, who was right in front of him, wasn't a ghost. His low intelligence is definitely more than simply comic relief. With tech matters, however, he seems at least fairly knowledgeable. He can dismantle a Monokuma unit, which we know are super complex, even by nasa standards. He can start up a train. These are things the average human would at the very least struggle with
to do with the ease we see him do this with. So he definitely is above average in tech matters

Teruteru was put as average, but he committed a murder even though the ultimate imposter did everything to prevent one. The Imposter was seriously thorough, yet Teruteru anticipated him taking even the cooking prongs, and hid one in the chicken bone. Teruteru knew about the under the floor area, and not only figured out how to use this for the plan, but even decently hid that he was under there. Teruteru is definitely Above Average

Maybe "Below Average in general; Gifted with technology" then?

Okay. That seems fine to apply then.

Okay. Feel free to apply that then. 🙏

Some feats on the pheromones Purple Man has created:

Pheromones
Strength

Versatility

Limitations

Usage in Gear and on Teams

Okay, but can you ONLY list his blatant intelligence feats please, not examples of his powers and other feats?

It is a superpower of his, i.e. mostly instinctive/automatic, not a feat of scientific engineering.

This Character
Is currently At least Above Average, something reasonable based on intelligence....
At least Above Average (Very skilled wrestler. Combines technical prowess, high-flying maneuvers, as well as his gift for mathematics to quickly analyze and react to his opponents moves.)
but if you look at his P&A (Analytical Prediction) you will find a clearer explanation of his mathematical abilities:
(Thanks to his gift for mathematics, Axiom believes that anything can be broken down into a formula. He states that he can quickly analyze and react to anything. He uses his gift for mathematics, as well as his natural technical skill to quickly counter submission maneuvers, pinning positions, and grapple maneuvers)
Is this really Above Average?

Well, maybe "At least Above Average, likely Gifted" would work better?
I agree with Ant's sentiment here.

Szayelapporo needs to be an Extraordinary Genius.

His intelligence section is fine but the Genius rating is downplay. His intillect rivals Extraordinary genius's like Mayuri, and he created a castle out of sand that can warp space and fully bend to his mind. There are more points on the profile but you get the gist. Complete mastery in things like biology, engineering, fighting, strategy etc to supernatural levels.

If anything, this is still genius — range.

From my perspective, nothing appears self-evident here, and the points you've mentioned are not specifically highlighted in the profile. I suggest creating a CRT to incorporate those scans and statements related to his intelligence for an enhanced discussion if you want to upgrade him.

Dread stop being obtuse. These are literally things elsewhere on the profile like the castle thing and wouldn't take more than a minute to implement. I'm not wasting 2 days of my time explaining what should be obvious to people who read the profile or the series.

Creating/improving devices capable of draining Big Bang level energies and objects capable of scanning and projecting higher dimensions can be used to give Supergenius level of intelligence?

Below average.
@Hagane_no_Saiyajin @The_King_of_Prudence

That seems fine, yes.

@Arcker123

This seems fine, but you need to properly explain his intelligence feats within his page.
