Solaris Speed Downgrade

Solaris' speed should likely be dowgraded to MFTL+ or Infinite.

Based on one statement (He is a transcendent life form that exists in the past, present and future) he gets 3 abilities. Actuality, temporal omnipresence, and immeasurable speed. 1. That statement only implies omnipresence. 2. Being a "transcendent life form" can't warrant immeasurable speed. 3. Look at his speed justification Is a higher-dimensional being that is beyond linear time, as it simultaneously exists in the past, present, and future. Was also collapsing and consuming all of time, merging past, present and future into one single void, and could still move and perfectly function in such a state). Existing in the past, present, and future is a temporary omnipresent as stated above. And it was stated that Solaris was merging the past, present and future in a singular void, which is not stated. Plus moving in a void isn't a thing now. Speaking of voids, Solaris destroyed the space time of the entire universe. How can Sonic have immeasurable speed by moving through space time if the entire space time was destroyed? It's evident that all of time was destroyed because there were multiple locations from different points of time in the same void. If it exists as one entity in three different time periods, how can it travel to different time periods just by moving? If we are led to believe that the characters fight Solaris in a timeless void like the original explanation. How can characters like Tails and the other FTL character still move and operate. We aren't given enough of an explanation of where the characters are when they fight Solaris.

Conclusion: I'm okay with it now and this can be close whenever

So, important question.

Where is the thread that upgraded Solaris to Immeasurable? Because if the reasons are valid but the Speed Section is just terribly out of date, we can at least hurry this up.

That's a good question, I don't remember! :D

It's bad enough already how Sonic CRTs usually end up as crapshoots thanks to the unfair stigma it gets on Vs communities but to start A new one just before the Wiki move just reeks of spite imo.

This is pointless... :/

Just gonna ignore the "he was hit by rocks" point altogether.

Solaris' Immeasurable speed doesn't come from existing in a timeless void (or that shouldn't be a justification on the profile, at least).

Speed: "Immeasurable (Movement beyond linear time. This is why the speed cannot be measured. Given that S = D/T, if T is undefined the speed formula cannot be applied. This is the same reason why multiple temporal dimensions also grant immeasurable speed.)"

By existing in the past, present and future, I believe Solaris would be warranted Immeasurable speed by default going by the information on the speed page.

A being that is not only omnipresent throughout space, but also time, would also be able to react to every attack from a being with normal speed before the opponent would even begin to throw the attack. This is the case because such a being would exist throughout all of time, experiencing past, presence and future at once while not being bound to the normal flow of time.

Those "rocks" are Solaris's own attacks being reflected back at him. They're not average space rocks.

Solaris is described as super-dimensional, a transcendent being, and existing in the past, present, and future all at once. This makes it very clear that he's a higher-dimensional being and not bound by linear time, so any movement he makes would be immeasurable. You would need immeasurable speed to even be able to interact with Solaris.

The void stuff is irrelevant as it has nothing to do with the speed rating.

Therefore, I see no valid reasons as to why Solaris should have his speed downgraded.

So being temporary omnipresent automatically gives you immeasurable speed?

If Solaris being temporally omnipresent gives him Immesurable speed, then why doesn't Mechikabura? His body is literally made up from different timelines itself and he has higher dimensional existence. It's like how Gurren Lagaan has a 10-11th dimensional Universe within itself.

Don't mention DB in a Sonic thread they'll rip your ass apart.

Pretty sure we dont give characters immeasurable speed just by being omnipresent throughout time. We even tend to note under the speed sections of their pages that if they're Omnipresent throughout time, space or both, then its just "X Speed, Omnipresent through Y".

@ProfessorKukui4Life It's a case-by-case thing.
When did we treat this as case by case? If Solaris has other stuff besides just being a temporal omnipresent, thats fine.

But if its just because he's temporarlly omnipresent, how would that make him different?

You are all forgetting Elise's dad said Solaris would be able to travel to diferent time periods
If it already exists in every time period how would it be able to travel to different time periods? Would there just be two Solarises?

Why are you asking me, that's what the characters said, plus Elise's dad was behind the Solaris project so he is a realible source, he straight up says that it will alow to travel through time and avoid bitter fate
