Tekken General Discussion Thread

jun-would-adore-xiaoyu-if-she-gets-to-meets-her-at-some-v0-7cdanjyoqy1b1.jpg

Curious if they will do a special intro with them, Jun might have a liking for her if she heard of Xiaoyu trying to help her son

Had no idea there was a Tekken thread.
Following.
Also beat Tekken 2 Arcade on Ultra Hard the other day. Woo!

Pretty cool, but I can't get over how cringe his dub sounds to my pizza ears. The Jojo reference is top-notch tho.

He was always a jojo reference, he got a pose similar Dio over the shoulder look, customizable item of stone mask too

Dataminers have apparently leaked some unannounced characters.

Yoshimitsu, Steve, Shaheen, Zafina, "Raven", and Alisa were in the apparent leak.

First new character just dropped!
Sis looks nice and has Ultra Instinct.
The music and stage are also gorgeous (the alpacaaaaas), and I don't know why, but coffee-making being her chatacteristic trait is weirdly funny.

Stage reminds me of the sheep stage a bit with the animals, funny how we got a Peru rep after the anime made the tournament happen there too, coincidence?

DRM software that violates end user privacy and licensing rights to prevent tampering with the games files as they're decrypted and loaded into memory.
As for why it's shitty.
1. You are only allotted 5 installs of any game that uses it. Meaning you can be locked out of playing a game that you paid for.
2. It makes checks into your systems RAM even when the game isn't running thus being a privacy concern.
3. Its over zealous nature is more than capable of causing performance drops.
3.5 The company that owns Denuvo, among other things, is a shitty company that will constantly deflect this critique.
4. And finally the most laughable part. Crackers have purportedly cracked all but a handful of games using the DRM, making its inclusion utterly pointless, and a detriment to consumers.

If want to see just how ******* atrocious DRM like Denuvo can be.
1. Watch this:

2. Look up "SimCity 2013 always online".
