Introduction
Hello everyone. Hope you all are doing well! Based on the previous CRT, this CRT aims to add more details to the Otherworld. Hopefully this also goes without a hitch like the previous CRTs.A few notes:
- The Otherworlds must not be confused with the other worlds. While they are widely similar in pronunciation, they are vastly different, as highlighted in our official cosmology page.
- All the translations provided here are from our translation helpers (except the visual descriptions) due to the non-zero possibility that the OTL or Slimereader TL might have translated specific terms incorrectly (Which may not matter from a casual reader’s perspective, but it matters to us, since we value accuracy above all else).
- Worlds are not the same as dimensions.
- Worlds are Universal in size, at least.
- Worlds/Universes expand faster than light.
- Otherworld/Dimensions contain Worlds/Universes.
- Otherworlds and Dimensions are essentially names of the same structures, such that otherworld is the space itself while dimensions are the boundaries of that space, the dimensional walls. But as a whole they are one.
As always, please avoid any derailing behavior and toxicity!

To begin with, we already know from our cosmology blog that:
Tensura Cosmology Page (Light Novel)
This explanation page will be explain cosmology of Light Novel continuity of the Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken, or Tensura for short.
- The Otherworld is the space separating different worlds (space-time continuums).
- The Otherworld is "Dimensional Space", which is outside Worlds and encompasses them.
Crossing between Universes and Higher Dimensions
Speed isn't defined by any number of spatial dimensions but simply distance over time. Meaning that it is possible for 1-dimensional characters to be faster than those who cover many dimensions. And the distance between two timelines is defined as the 5th dimension (Or a 4th spatial dimension) that separates two or more universes. Said distance is often unknown as it could be anywhere between much smaller than the Universal radius and infinite. But such details are only known to those who can travel through additional spatial dimensions. For that reason, crossing Universes is unquantifiable for speed unless details are specifically stated.
As for adding context from in-verse of the 5th dimension (although by default we consider the space separating 4D continuums as 5D). The first method is mainly inspired from this CRT by Vietthai.
Quoting @Vietthai96
One way to see this is that it contains worlds/universes (as said in the cosmology profile), that expand faster than light infinitely (which is a property of all worlds in general, as shown that even a random derivative world is born, expands, and collapses on itself). Yet these worlds never intersect with each other. Which means the Otherworld can and does separate any arbitrary sized 4D structure, space-time continuums.
Dimensions also contain Parallel Worlds, worlds that do not overlap (though this can also be proven by the non-intersecting regular worlds):
Additionally:
Parallelism
To properly discuss the Neutral Space, we first need to clarify what parallelism entails in a dimensional context.
In geometry, two objects are considered parallel if they can be extended infinitely without ever intersecting. However, this property depends on the dimensional framework they exist within.
In 1-D space, two line segments cannot be parallel if they occupy the same axis; extending them guarantees intersection.
In 2-D space, lines can be parallel because they are displaced along a second axis.
In 3-D space, planes can be parallel only if they are displaced along a third spatial axis.
Generalizing this, entire 4-D spacetimes cannot be truly parallel unless they are displaced along an additional spatial dimension.
Thus, if multiple spacetime continuums exist such that they never intersect or overlap regardless of expansion, they must be embedded within a higher-dimensional axis specifically, a space with at least one additional spatial axis beyond standard spacetime.
Even in the same world's universe, space continued to expand at a speed faster than light. The correlation between space and time was beyond Mai's understanding. Furthermore, the probability of being able to arrive at the time and place where her beloved brother was alive was infinitesimal.

Even that is nothing more than symptomatic treatment, and at this rate, it will eventually disappear…
"Here, you know, it seems that even time itself isn’t flowing."
"Hah?"
"Eh?"
That was the answer to Laplace’s earlier question. Even Yuuki himself was not confident, but there was no other way to explain it except by thinking so.
"Hmm, I realized it after observing for a long time, but you saw that rainbow colored sphere over there swell up and disappear earlier, right? I think that is probably one world, a universe."
"A universe?"
"One world..."
Inside that sphere, time is flowing. It seems that, as an aftereffect of that, a flow of time is generated in the surrounding area as well, but it can’t be observed… Strictly speaking, time was flowing. However, since there was no means to observe it, Yuuki judged from circumstances such as his own level of fatigue and the fact that he did not become hungry, and inferred that time is not flowing, or that it is flowing extremely slowly.
Yuuki could not interfere with information particles, nor was it possible for him to observe them. Therefore, everything was speculation, but fully displaying his genius, he had arrived at the correct answer. Even so, since there was no means of returning, it was meaningless…
"Then, is one of those rainbow colored spheres of light the world we were in?"
"I don’t think so. I think those are derivative worlds. From the generation of the spheres of light to their end, everything is uneven. Even considering the observable amount of energy, it was thought that the spheres of light observable here were places unrelated to the world Yuuki and the others had been in."

The Otherworld had order. A semi material world that exists as if overlapping with spiritual worlds such as the Spirit World and the Demon World.
Worlds that never intersect. There, broadly divided, three forces were competing for supremacy.
The Phantom race, which plots the invasion of other worlds. The Insecter race, which aims to expand its place of peaceful settlement. And the Cryptid race, which spends its time in battle and destruction.
There were also forces that came visiting from other dimensions, but they were destroyed, along with their original dimensions, by one of these three forces.
To that extent, these three forces boasted unparalleled martial might.

Dimensions also contain Parallel Worlds, worlds that do not overlap (though this can also be proven by the non-intersecting regular worlds):
Civilization levels are also diverse, and Velgrynd has no way to determine which dimension or which time axis they belong to. Also, since parallel worlds do not overlap with one another, it is impossible for the same existence to exist on the same time axis. In other words, just because one has gone there once does not mean one can go to the same place again. If it is the same time period within the dimension where Velgrynd exists, she can recognize the exact space-time coordinates. However, the Velgrynd of that point in time already exists there, and therefore, even with the Ultimate Skill “Flame God King Cthugha,” Space-Time Leap, she cannot jump there. Therefore, Velgrynd remembered all worlds and all Rudra.

Additionally:
- Universes/Worlds are born in the Otherworld at different places. You can be near one world (or the place where it was born), and you can see another world in the distance, but you can't trace the path between them. These worlds can also be in the form of Light rays instead of spheres, (one ray=one universe) making geometric shapes akin to snowflakes. It means they can extend in different axes.
- Visually, we have Rimuru's illustration while in the End of Time/Space (Otherworld) how it looks like, in that there are light spheres and rays spread around randomly but away from each other. In the Anime, we also get a glimpse of it while Rimuru is crossing worlds, and we see various structures in the Otherworld (you can see the episode here. Timestamp is 6:00 to 6:40. The link may not work for some because MuseAsia is only accessible in asia, but for reference its season 1 episode 1). There are also light particles floating in the Otherworld, so so many of them, but I'm not sure if they refer to spheres of light/worlds or are just visual effects. 50/50 on that.
Another way; we have to understand that:
- The "Space" that digital lifeforms fight in, the suspended world, is said to be higher-dimensional, such that there's a dimensional separation between those that can and cannot move in the Suspended World (4D and 5D).
- The "Otherworld" is outside even that, as when you cut space while fighting in the Suspended World, a rift to the outside, to the Otherworld, opens. So it should upscale from that and be at least 5D.
(Context: Veldanava used Suspended World/Time Stop and then the battle between those that can move in Stopped Time moved to a higher dimensional stage. Additionally, because Time Stop (which Veldanava activated) freezes time and space across all worlds. Which means the "stage" would not be referring to time as its frozen)More than that, if you’re safe, that’s enough. As for Chloe’s injury, Luminous who had been grasping our movements healed it without saying anything.
Even though there had been perfect backup, the fact that it took time until complete recovery means it was quite a severe wound. Truly, it was fortunate that Chloe was safe.
This was not the time to be feeling such relief. The next moment, the world had stopped.
All those who could still move understood that Veldanava had controlled time. That is to say, the battle had shifted to a higher dimensional stage.

In the Stopped World, between those who can move and those who cannot move, there exists a dimensional wall that can never be overcome.

Additionally, it was accepted in the part 2 CRT that the scan above refers to Dimensions as in Space/Spatial Dimensions, not as in the structural ones indexed in the cosmology blog.My slash became a gigantic blade and tore apart the sky, and just like that it even largely tore apart the giant Ruverje.
Moreover, that was not the end. A vast amount of energy was generated, producing Lightning of Nothingness, and there was no sign of the torn sky closing.
The dimension split, and connected to an Otherworld. Over there, time was flowing, and it rushed in as a tremendous spacetime storm.
That, as it was, formed a vortex, swallowed the massive body of Ruverje, and crushed and collapsed it messily.
Even the gigantic body of Ruverje, which would probably only feel even Gravity Collapse as nothing more than a slight breeze, was helplessly cut to pieces and collapsed.

As for if its significant or not... it is. It's vaster than the Universe in itself, and not just one universe, the Otherworlds themselves are vaster than many universes:
The universe is vast, but not as vast as the Otherworld.
Having obtained vessels and incarnated, we believed that complete conquest of this spacetime could be achieved within several thousand to several tens of thousands of years.
In parallel, we were developing the Underworld Gates that connect to other dimensions, keeping further invasions in mind. However, an unexpected situation occurred.

Suiimu originally swims through the interstellar space of a vast otherworld, even more expansive than a realm that contains countless universes. Its maximum combat speed reaches sub-light speed, and by leaping through space through Otherworld Gates, which are generated as naturally as breathing, it has annihilated innumerable interstellar nations, being nothing other than a natural disaster itself. An Otherworld Gate is a type of Transfer Gate, a spatial transfer intended for ultra-long-distance movement on a universe-scale.

So
- It's higher dimensional.
- It's far above just universal in size, in itself.
TL;DR
- Otherworld is Low 1-C 5D.
- Dimensions being the Otherworld but with extra steps (Dimensional Wall etc.) essentially, as established in the cosmology blog, means Dimensions are also the same tier. Anyone who presently scales to them is L1-C (5-D)
- Octagram guys (some in all stats by pure strength and some in only AP/Striking Strength via their ultimates)
- All True Dragons
- All Guardians in their Ultimate key (only AP)
- Ultimate Skill users (only AP)
- All Primordials (only AP, via Nihility Magic)
- VoTW
- God
- Cardinal World (as location/place, in durability only)
