Asuna can resist the heat of lightning and souls in Bakuhatsu can’t be affected unless you kill the body it inhabits (Which is how XP works)

Everything that has caused negative karma is eligible for the technique, but a minor evil deeds will only hurt his enemies a little lol. Killing, raping, oppression, etc will severely injure the sinner.
And yes, it is across their past.
His Void integration key (which is tier 4 in planning) can bring a person negative karma from the infinite future tho. Bringing the judgement into the present, but with backlash as that defies the will of Heaven.

Ah, okay, makes sense
That would basically be a win button against evil characters that can’t block fate manip though, so I dunno what venefica will think of it, but we’ll have to wait and see
