Let's make our own fighting game. Let's add characters to this roster.

Try to keep within limits of characters on the VSBW site.

Please keep a limit of 3 characters per comment.

Honestly, a VSBW game would be hard to play, because the characters would keep getting amped and nerfed, and abilities would continued to get added and removed, so the character that was your main two days ago is now totally different, and sooner or later you just get lost and give up trying to keep up with what's happening.

Tsunayoshi Sawada would be a character with some of the best 3D mobility in the game with fast ariel combos and the fastest jab in the game, however, he would lack ranged attacks and deal average damage.

Yusuke Urameshi would have decently fast combos with averge 3D mobility. He would have some of the highest damage output in the game and his Spirit Gun would have the highest range out of any attack in the game, in addition to some of the highest attack output in the game.

Pelinal I would image to be one of those characters meant to beat you into the dirt kind of like Ragna, and he would be able to turn invincible when he activates maddness but due to being a fighting game it probably won't last that long and he won't one shot you, that would be his Finisher/Astral Finish/KO/Destroyed/what ever the game calls it.

The Dovahkii would probably be a range fighter due to shouts, and would be very versatile but would be bad at melee range. I image his finisher/instant death attack would be to Unrelenting Force Shout into space to either slam into a star or just be BFR'd.

Alex Mercer/Heller: heavy hiter and power copying via absorption(good in a 2v2, 3v3 ect. pointless in 1v1), health Regenerationn(speed up with abssorbtion) he will play as a close to mid range char(due to the wip) and his devestators would be an ulitmate attack dishing out big dmg at expence of health.

Protege: perfect power mimicry but little of his own power he would be good in a 2v2 and above due to the ability to use the enemies powerse and abilitys and mix them and use them ageinst them, in a 1v1 it would be pointless as it will all boil down to who is better at the charater that gets mimiced, his play style would depend on the cherecter he mimics

Galactus: a long to mid range charater with huge dmg at the start but the longer the fight gose on the hungrier and weaker galactus gets he also gets summons aka his heralds(temporery of course) who act more like a destraction then a proper threat dishing out small amount of dmg via long range energy attacks(useless ageinst energy absorbing opponents as they will just get more powerful due to those attacks) posses energy absorption which will prolong his power

Ryuko Matoi as yet another anime sword fighter. She could have a mechanic similar to Lucario, where some of her moves do more knockback and damage based on how much shes damaged. She would play as a mobile close ranged fighter.

The Courier (Fallout: New Vegas) would serve as a long ranged fighter would use his arsenal of guns and explosives in combat. His ultimate could be The Euclid C Finder Orbital Laser Beam or a barrage from his Fatman. V.A.T.S could be a neutral special that would fire a gunshot at an opponent within range. similar to Autoreticle.

Dio Brando could work as a closer ranged variant of the Rosalina and Luma playstyle. Dio could send his stand out a bit in front of him, and it will mimic Dio's movements and attacks. It would also be different because Dio would take any damage the World receives. His time stop would be counter based, similar to Bayonetta's Witch time.

I'm just gonna hit random a couple times and assign a fighting style to them.

Lodestar: Basically a defensive fighter. Can set up forcefields rather quickly, and it takes a while for them to go away. Relies mostly on chip damage and doesn't have many heavy hitting combos due to his long lasting shield. Ultimately he'd Likely be mid tier and have a good matchup against the Courier.

Pinkie Pie: The epitome of a joke character, but despite that she still happens to be a pretty decent character, with her party canon being a help, and she's able to throw around party foods that can heal whoever picks them up after they're thrown. Would be a surprisingly high tier character, with high mobility and good combos involving her hair manip and teleportation. Fighting her is basically crazy.

Clown (Play With Me): Uktimately a low tier character who doesn't have much going for them. They were left behind when all the big updates came around. The only thing Clown has going for him is his teleportation, similar to Raiden in Mortal Kombat, except instead of just being a combo, it takes up one of his actual buttons?? Clown becomes a joke among the community, only picked to taunt other players, as the clown does have some sick taunts, though that's about it. Combos are basic and can't go anywhere, damage is okay at best, but mobility options are lacking and even his finishing move is completely unoriginal with a Slenderman-esque feel to it. Definitely bottom tier. Don't know why the developers added this. Surprisingly enough though he is okay against Lodestar, but still fails against combatants such as the Dragonborn

More fandoms because I actually like this thread a lot

Komodo Dragon: A bit of an odd choice for the developers to add in, but has been in the game for a long time now and he's considered a classic. Veterans of the series use him a lot. He has a special bite attack that goes with his grab which causes damage overtime due to poison, but it wears out after a while. He used to be pretty high up on the tier list due to his poison. It used to be pretty OP until he was hit with the nerf. Didn't see him a lot in competitive afterwards. He's still a decent low tier though and a lot of people play him for nostalgia. He favors from some pretty good damage overtime but his mobility isn't the best and he has very low jumping capabilities. Besides his bite, he also attacks people with claws and his tail. His combo game is a little weak but he can easily take a quarter of your health in the hands of a skilled player. Other than that, though, he's a mid tier that's fallen from grace and is mainly used for nostalgia purposes. He doesn't however have some favorable matchups against Saitama and arguably a good match for Deku, but due to the lack of any range to speak of he suffers against opponents like Courier and Dragonborn. Ryukuo also gives him a tough time due to her rage mechanic.

Monstro: Monstro is a weird addition, added in during the Isaac update. Monstro doesn't attack like a normal fighter would, and instead he does most of his damage by essentially jumping around. Not only does this mean fighting one is annoying but it's also a game of attrition. Monstro only has a couple melee attacks that don't involve jumping, one is a headbutt with impressive knock back and the other is biting the opponent. He also has a grab by swallowing the opponent and spitting them out to throw. He's definitely low tier due to his odd playstyle, however, as being in the air makes him vulnerable to attacks, but he does have a very high jump stat, so it sort of balances out considering not many can meet him in the air. When he meets back on the ground, there's an explosion of projectiles that go everywhere and damage everything around him. Monstro will occasionally just vomit as well, which is also an attack he can do. His taunt game is weak, however. This is a case of someone who has been and will always be weak, seemingly added in for filler because they couldn't just add Isaac from Binding of Isaac. Seeing a Monstro at tournaments is rare, however many players remember that time when a Monstro completely thrashed a Lodestar at a tourney, the Lodestar not being able to get a single hit in the whole match.

The Gingerbread Man: Oh god don't even get me started on The Gingerbread Man. Okay, if I have to. Added and included in the Myths and Fables pack with like 15 other fighters, Gigerbread Man would prove himself to be one of the most annoying new additions to the game, followed close by the Pied Piper (which I might get to later). The Gingerbread Man acts similar to Sonic except he is actually a little faster! He's a hit and run type of fighter who focuses on going in, beating the crap out of anyone in there, and running out before he gets hit. Gingerbread Man mains play the long con when they enter a game and they enjoy this play style. He's balanced out by the fact that he lacks any defenses whatsoever, and I'm not joking. One hit and he takes a big chunk of damage, even from a simple jab. Mains of Gingerbread Man enjoy the high risk high reward play style of 'The Man', as he's called in the scene. The Man has developed a cult following among a select few competitive players, and the problem is that they're good, making it to high rounds of several tournaments, though they're fights can be sort of boring to watch. Gingerbread Man also has some pretty good taunts, and he was essentially made to be annoying. Once again he's fairly good against Lodestar, and and does surprisingly well against Galatia and Heller. Funny enough, he suffers against The Clown. One of the most bottom tiers! Mostly due to the teleportation and The Man's lack of defense leaving basic combos deadly. It was a hilarious match when The Clown came out during a tournament, and actually won. Despite this Gingerbread Man is a low tier character, it's just a lot of high tier characters play him.

Holy hell! Xeno goku a few weeks ago was getting stomped by cressillia and every 2-B. Now he just defeated dalgia? Im so proud ;_;

Go goku

It can be a bit confusing yeah.

Also I like this thread too much and I don't know why.

as is evident by my walls of text

Escanor An axe wielding Brawler that grows in power of the course of a day. He wields sunshine that is even stronger than the flames of hell. He favors overwhelming power and speed over technique. With his power grows his pride, up until High Noon where for just one minute he is invincible. However, in matches were AP and is equalized, he is at a disadvantage against characters such as Master Chief. Due to Escanor's lack of versatility, reliable Regenerationn, and real training. This issue is aggrivated if an enemy happens to be stronger than him!

Ben Tennyson (Original) A kid with some of the best versatility. He has 70 or more different transformations that he can use. And by powering up with the Master Control, or his Ultimates he can become even stronger. Each transformation has its own unique abilities and moves. Making Him a very hard opponent to predict without precognition. But what makes Ben really dangerous is his ability to utilize Alien X. However Ben can of course be overwhelmed by enemies that are overwhelmingly stronger than most of his forms, or have hax that he just cannot deal with. Mind manipulation in particular is devastating against Ben.

Master Chief A very capable and skilled character from the lower-tiers. Master Chief generally favors mid-long range attacks. But he is no stranger to hand to hand combat. Though due to being in the lower en of Tier 8. He's far from the strongest. But can still hold his own against stronger opponents with all manner of equipment. For instance, in a match where his speed and AP were equalized with Escanor's, he came out on top thanks to his wit and versatility, by not allowing Escanor time to get stronger.

This would be like the biggest but most unbalanced fighting game ever made tbh. But none of the less, it stays true to what typically matters in most fighting games; speed and hax trumping all over well roundedness and versatility.

Is that true in fighting games? I'm not that big on the scene so I dunno.

I mean people can do a lot of crazy things with low tiers

Yeah, in tournament matches for most games; it's always the speedy characters that are most OP. And in Smash Bros, triggering overpowered glitches like Fox's black holes in Melee, Marth's moonwalk in Melee/4/Ultimate, Meta Knight's permanent flight in Brawl among other things is the equivalent of hax.
