Wesker is generally portrayed far stronger than Krauser, he was only taken out after Chris and Sheva found out his weakness and he still was just as capable of killing them individually as evidenced by the fact Chris/Sheva only survived the encounter on the plane by assisting one another.
Krauser despite being formidable was taken out Leon and Ada without either of them having to exploit any of his weaknesses.
