Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

Obvious vandalism.

They also have other vandalising edits on their contributions page.
I handled it.

I gave them a 1 year block in combination with an instruction message, as even if they are clueless rather than malicious, they seem so extremely clueless that they will need a lot of time to improve on their editing skills.

This user made this edit to Rock Lee's profile, and more notably, it is overwriting Antvasima's rollback of the exact same edit made months earlier. No CRT appears to have been made.

The user has over 3,000 edits and doesn't seem to be malicious. They might not even know their prior revision was rolled back by Antvasima, so this strikes me at least as a well-intentioned mistake. Still, it's a problem Antvasima has had to fix before.

Update: Actually, Antvasima warned the user against this exact edit before. This could be an issue... Maybe they didn't see the warning.

He seems familiar as someone who's been around for years, and IMO he should have known better. But I gave him a just in case final warning. If someone thinks that's too lenient, a short block I won't be against but think a 2nd warning is good for now.

The thing is what he updated in his profile, that just came today in game so how come he got accepted before hand ? Can I get the link of the crt plz.

This upgrade was based on characters for the Sumeru Arc. However, Childe’s upgrades are from the Fontaine Arc which is after the Sumeru Arc, hence theoretically the Traveller should be much stronger in the Fontaine Arc (especially after acquiring a new element) therefore I think it’s reasonable for Childe to have an At least 6-C rating.

Ummm ic if u think it's fine then ig i can't do anything, but I still think they should've made a crt for tartaglia for his 6-C upgrade, above crt is for traveller only.

If this wasn't a CRT accepted thing then it isn't acceptable to change it. Even the decision to make a character notable upscale ("At least 6-C" rather than "6-C") is a statistical change and one that would require specific acceptance.

Was this revision accepted in the CRTs, or is it just presumed as logical?

Accepted indirectly, you could say (so logically speaking). The Traveler already has “at least 6-C” on their profile so I actually wouldn’t know about the flaws behind that.

Am I getting the wrong idea here or what? I’m pretty sure if [[character A]] has [[rating X]] then I’m pretty sure everyone who scales on par with [[character A]] all has their rating changed to [[rating X]], since they’re obviously displayed to be on-par with them.

If the Traveler has At least 6-C (accepted via CRT) and this guy just had that applied (even if he wasn't named explicitly, but is accepted to scale), then it's probably fine.

Yeah, that’s the case right there.

What he used in his profile is this, i don't see traveller fighting the narwhal ? And last link is a boss fight which doesn't clarify anything ( also i haven't reached this part in game myself so I am not sure self)
At least City Block level, at least Island level with Foul Legacy (Much stronger than before. Could inflict damage to the All-Devouring Narwhal who was extremely difficult for both Fontaine Traveler and Neuvillette to defeat, who shared a part of the ancient dragons' power with him, after he restored full power of his dragonhood)

Battle starts at 3:15. Tho yeah, I agree that was poorly applied. They just linked the entire video rather than timestamps.

Well, to be fair, it seems very illogical that Rock Lee would have the abilities that Orc removed, as Rock is almost entirely limited to purely physical combat.

I personally do not mind (and even appreciate) if members competently help to apply such verse-spanning upgrades, as long as the changes they scale from have been accepted by our staff in a content revision thread beforehand.

Is still something that needs a CRT, you can't remove stuff which was previously accepted without an agreed reason.
Was it accepted or just added as a standard ability for all Naruto ninjas though, without pausing to consider that Rock Lee does not actually have any more esoteric abilities whatsoever?

I thought at first it seemed at least somewhat reasonable too. The thing that made me think it wasn't was the fact that they had made the exact same edit months earlier, and you had already rolled it back. You'd even warned them over that edit. This doesn't strike me as a troll edit though, just a misunderstanding. They seem well-intentioned.

The abilities that Orc removed, require little to no chakra whatsoever and are more like stealth abilities.
Okay, but Rock Lee explicitly has no such abilities at all.

Yes, agreed. I think that we should probably restore their edit.

I’m not gonna comment on how legitimate the abilities are, I’m just going to say that if this person wants to remove them, they need to make a CRT.

No. We shouldn’t be allowing someone to remove abilities from a profile without going through the proper channels to do so.

User @XxZetsuxX made statistical changes by cutting off abilities from this page.

Seemingly, he also did those shenanigans on this page as well.

Compare the version before and after his edits, clearly a change in profile statistics.

Elizhaa blocked them (for vandalism, which while technically true I'd say doesn't pay proper respect to inserting that particular message).

These edits are mostly clarifications and source-adding based on what's already accepted; he should receive a light warning and be told the proper process. @XxZetsuxX You need to pass a proper CRT to enact changes to statistics, including abilities, even if they may seem self-evident to you. You're getting a warning because you seem to want to genuinely help.
