Cannibalized Worm: Alpha RP Thread 3

Natalie thinks about her shard.

I suddently remember my base is in the middle of the indian ocean.

Also Merlin remembers that Kingmaker is not restrictive at all.

I explain to my two allies my plan to go to our base.

Merlin uses King Maker to give Natalie a Stand with Infinite Threasury to get a picture of the insides of my base and Blink to Blake.

Natz gets the imagine, then Blake uses it to teleport my group to the location.
 
"Stay here. These people are gonna help you find your mom." I tell the boy. I then take the cop to the brothel where I found the boy.

Once the group reaches the bottom of the stairs, the stairs lift themselves up into the ceiling. They have reached a black room with neon blue outlines on the walls. On the side of the room, they can see a button system for the stairs. At the opposite end of the room there is an imprint on the wall in the shape of a door. They do not see any signs of tampering.

Alexandra gets to the first page of North American bounties. She notices there are seven.

Eon:

Last Known Location: Dallas, Texas.

Info: His power seems to let him move at high speeds in large bursts which he uses to do multiple actions in a small time frame. He is also able to rapidly heal his injuries.

Bounty: $2 million USD

Mover: 7

Striker: 5

Robert finds out that some tremors were noticed near a city in Mexico, but it seems like the reporters don't know more about the situation than that.

The man nods.

"Very well. Your interrogation is over. We will now take you back to your cell and then what will happen to you will be discussed."

The man gets up and the troopers ready their launchers at Jack as the man leads Jack back to his cell.

As the gangsters realize they aren't going to be able to get back up, some of them start charging at Gurman with unpinned grenades.

The man smiles, pleased that you are being reasonable.

"My name is Rodger. I am also known as Luminary. You have landed in the base of the Calaveras. I am telling you this because I think we could work together. Do you have somewhere to stay?"

The woman frowns.

"This interrogation is over. We will now take you back to your cells and then decide on what to do with you. Will you come peacefully or do you need to be foamed down?"

The older boy cuts you out from your restraints and then backs up quickly. The younger boy gets behind him.

Your group appears inside of a passageway in their base.

@Stand

The cop follows you after making some gestures to another cop who nods. He gasps at all the cages.

"This...this is terrible."

He notices the dead gangsters.

"You did this?"

Fire wakes up, the light of a new day shining across his face.

Earth also awakes, his mind rested from a peaceful sleep.
 
Legion, Along with the others go through the door as if nothing's the matter then. No signs of tampering means, that at the very least it happened further in.
 
Jack takes a careful look around him at the guys with the foam, as he sits in his seat a bit longer

"You sure those guys who brought me in don't want to ask me anything first?"

Seeing the grenaders all around him, Gurman grabbed two by the collar, spinning around so as to knock everyone back before letting the two fly away
 
Nicholas had finished building his futuristic tanks and integrating the robot technology in them. the tanks look something like this.

He then sat down near Alexandra and asked her about what she had found.

"So, did you find anything?"

"Yeah, take a look, guy's name is Eon, Mover/Striker combo." Alexandra replies as Nicholas reads the bounty.

"Might be worth going after then, I suppose. We should locate him and prepare a plan of attack first." Nicholas answers

"I'll let you take care of finding him then." Alexandra says as she grants Nicholas Second Trigger Retrospective while removing the previous Tinker powers he had.

Nicholas would look at the bounty and attempt to use Retrospective to trace the steps of the target, trying to find where they are now. Alexandra meanwhile was thinking of an attack strategy for incapacitating the target.

"Wow, these look great." Victoria thought to herself as she looked at the suits made for the team. She would then go and sit down, watching and listening to Nicholas and Alexandra talk.

Robert meanwhile had stopped using a computer and was merely looking over the base, lost in thought.
 
Leaving the city I decide to head out in search of an airport or some other method of reaching Bering Island. I head in a vaguely west direction.

If I can't find a plane or something reaching my lair might be a problem.
 
"Thank you very much. By the way, I must ask something. Have you, by any chance killed, anyone recently? Or ever, for that matter."

Maybe this man could help me... and maybe I can finally get on the path where I find out why I am here...

These are the words that cross Pzyko's mind, right before he sighs and goes through the unfamiliar memories again. There is a specific hotel that shows up somewhere in those memories... he decides to say its name.

"...a Courtyard Mariott?"

The door leads to a larger room with two doors on each side of it along with several boxes at the end of the room. The boxes contain material that would be useful for tinkering. The two doors on the right lead to bedrooms while the doors on the left lead to hallways. The hallway that is accessed from the closest door on the left leads downward, to a room with large test tubes, some beakers, and empty vials. The hallway that is accessed from the farthest door on the right leads to a large empty room. There is a note on the floor. It says "Feel free to customize this one to your liking.".

You are led to back to the cell with the Troopers keeping an eye on you the entire way back. Once you go inside, the woman speaks to you.

"Your cooperation is appreciated, we will get back to you as soon as possible."

The woman and the PRT Troopers leave the cell room.

The man frowns.

"You will not be receiving any more questioning for the moment. Now, get up."

As Gurman starts swinging around the men, the explosions begin to start. After a few more seconds of swinging, the men he was holding onto are nothing but chunks of meat. Gurman is covered in blood. The few remaining members of the Merchants are running away. Some are going through the doors, others are getting into the trucks, and a few of them are even escaping through the hole in the wall.

Nicholas finds Eon at the top floor of a casino, gambling with a wild grin on his face. He's covering the top half of his head with a purple mask that has lines etched into it.

Ahead of the group, the passageway splits into three corridors. The left corridor leads to a glass room where you can see the ocean. Many colorful fish are swimming around. The middle corridor leads to a large room with a metallic floor and walls. There are boxes of various metals and some blowtorches to the side of it. The right corridor splits again into two more hallways. The left hallway has many doors on the right and left sides of it, with the doors leading to big bedrooms and beautifully decorated bathrooms. The right hallway leads to an open area that has a vertically standing metal box near the entrance. On top of the box you see buttons along with a title near the top of it's screen that says "Virtual Reality Simulator".

As you start traveling, you stumble upon a road. Eventually a car pulls up beside you. The only person inside seems to be the driver. He grins at you.

"Hey, need a ride?"

The two of the boys back up a few steps. The younger one shakes his head while the older one stutters a little when he responds.

"N-no."

Luminary has a surprised look on his face, before settling down after letting out a few chuckles.

"Huh. Of all the places. Funny thing is, I can think of a hotel nearby that fits that description. I can get you a room there. Would that be to your liking?"

As the Troopers start escorting the beastly cape back to the cells, Miss Militia gives them some space and gestures for you to come over. Once you do, she gives you an eye smile.

"So, what did you think of your first interrogation? Must've been different than what you were expecting. You did good not reacting outwardly to the way he talked."

@Stand

The cop starts inspecting the area, still talking to you.

"You're a cape right? Why haven't you joined the PRT?"
 
"Yeah a ride would be nice, thanks." I respond to the driver

While I don't know if I can trust him, getting a ride would be better than walking
 
"Hmm... Right..."

Jack looked around him again as time slowed in his mind.

The chair he was sitting on would stop one of them, and he could probably lift it in one hand long enough to block getting foamed. With the other, he'd have to take out the other guy as fast as he could, take his launcher and spray him down, along with the other guys, before any noise can get made. Then again, there's the problem of if the weapons are gene locked, and will just freeze up upon Jack grabbing them. And on top of that, there may be a better opportunity later down the line to escape: there are plenty of other capes here, that might get broken out from connections they have. That's the sort of chaos Jack would really need to get out reliably. Him just reaching for a foam launcher is suicidal... then again, most of everything he does is suicidal. Not like this though. This won't bring him near death.

With all of that pondering, Jack finally gets out of his chair and cooperates.

Gurman had no enhancement to his speed whatsoever, so it was impossible for him to get them all in one go. Ultimately, he took his best bet, and threw what was left of the guys he was holding at the ones escaping through the wall, before running at one of the trucks and throwing them at the others, trying to take out as many as possible. More survivors means more people to deal drugs and facilitate these crimes. That couldn't happen, if he could so help it.
 
I walk towards the older one. I notice that I can't feel my mouth, outside or inside. I honestly didn't know how I was able to speak. Looking at my hands, I notice they're a strange shade of grey. I stop a few feet in front of the older boy.

"You seem like the types of people who would only kill if they absolutely needed to, and maybe not even that."

I hold out my hand, as though for a handshake.

"I don't know how I got here, or who you are, but you have my trust."
 
Legion asks Varielle "I Think Robotics for now. So we can Set up some Robot's to help with the Search. I want you looking for good prospective capes while i'm doing it." Varielle gave him the needed power. He headed off, and Varielle sought for a computer.

Dr. Nucleus left to hit the sack.
 
S.R.E.E.'s tail wags, though she still has the same blank look on her face. "Now then, time to get an asset." She hides her original body away and posses the Mk. 2, she then trys to find a computer.
 
"He's in a casino. He's wearing some odd mask and looks very happy." Nicholas says out loud.

"I'll find why he has his bounty then." He then begins looking through the man's past, seeing what he did to cause his bounty.

"Sounds good to me, I think I'll go sleep for a bit, if anyone needs powers you can just give them to them by copying mine." Alexandra responds before going to take a nap on the couch.

"I should do something useful." Victoria thought as she was lazing about observing Nicholas and the systems do their respective work, she decided to go to one of the computers and attempt to contact the group's supply providers, asking how much the materials needed for the global observation system and high level entry system would cost.

Robert was practicing his martial arts, a way to relax his mind and not think about the condition he has.

As Klaw is resting, he sees the other person who was in the cells earlier enter and get put back into a cell by the troopers.

Jack is led back to his cell by the troopers.

Gurman takes out most of the runners near the wall but some of them get lucky and aren't hit by any flying bodies, allowing them to flee. As Gurman grabs onto a truck, he manages to lift it by using all of his strength. With great effort, he is able to toss it into the other trucks, causing the gangsters in between them to get slammed by it and break into pieces. Gurman notices some oil start leaking from the trucks.

The boys look at each other. After a few seconds, the older one turns to you and shakes your hand.

"My name is Marco. This is Carlos. What are you going to do now?"

Varielle finds a computer in one of the bedrooms.

S.C.R.E.E finds a computer room with multiple monitors.

Nicholas sees flashbacks of a young teenager pummeling a group of his peers to death in a classroom. He's wearing a purple mask that gets splattered with blood as he beats them down. Nicholas notices some tears sliding down his face from under the mask. The scene shifts to that of a older man, wearing the same mask. He's at a drug deal which is very obvious considering the copious amounts of white powder strewn about. As he is talking with the other drug dealers, he seems agitated. They get agitated in response, and then he acts first, pulling out an Uzi and shooting up the place. As the bodies start piling up, Nicholas notices one of the men start to glow a firey red. The man in the purple mask starts backing up and then jumps out of a window before a fiery explosion covers the entire building. Nicholas gets snapped out of the past as soon as the flames start spreading.

Victoria finds that the rest of the global positioning system's creation costs equal up to around $5,000,000 and the high level entry system also cost around $4,500,000.

@Stand

The cop looks shocked.

"You don't know what the PRT is?! They're the superhero organization, we even have a branch here in Brockton."

@DarkSide

The man grins.

"Alright, let's get you acquainted with the place then."

He walks you outside to a black car covered in purple lining. After you get in the passenger seat, he begins driving.

"So, while we're getting there, we can get to know each other better. For starters, what's your name?"
 
S.R.E.E. turns on the computer and checks what it is on it, while her face is still blank and emotionless, her tail still wags.
 
[A Robot Focusing on learning and assessing cape activity particularly our bizarro clones throughout the world. I'd install some augmentations with the proper detection once the basic body is complete if needed or if it would improve the robot..]
 
"Well I needed to get to Bearing Island so I was looking for maybe an airport or a dock with someone who could get me there." I say

"If you could bring me to an airport, or a dock that would be nice but if not just continuing in this direction works."
 
"A massacre. Hmm. I suppose I will allow the PRT to deal with him for now, time to figure out our approach." Nicholas says to himself.

Victoria, having finished contacting the suppliers, approaches Nicholas.

"So what did you find?"

"We're going after him, he's in a casino called "The Lucky Rabbit", top floor room. We need a plan of attack." Nicholas responds before backing up from the rest of the group so that he is closer to Alexandra.

"Here. You should search for the location, get me a picture." Nicholas says, copying Alexandra's Kingmaker due to standing close to her, he grants Victoria Second Trigger versions of Technopathy and Schroedinger.

She would begin using her powers to scour the internet searching for information on the casino as well as pictures of the top floor room, blueprints and the like.

Robert would keep practicing his martial arts, as Nicholas wasn't requesting anything of him.

Nicholas would use retrospective to keep a view on what the situation in the casino was, as well as who the other people gambling with Eon were and if any of them were capes.
 
The peaceful nature to this place was honestly disturbing, now that Jack was sent back to a place where he could only think about it.

Ever since he spent his time in the military, stationed in the middle east, he's never really had quiet be a safe thing. There was always something, somewhere, that could take his life or put him in serious danger. That was a comfort zone of sorts, but once he actually confronted near death, with his body being ripped to shreds by a IED, that triggered him. The shock of actually having to deal with what he thought he was ready for more than pushed him over the edge.

Of course, in irony, him triggering took the edge way off. No matter how hard he was hit, he just walked it off. So he got as close to death as he wanted, shot the other guy, and laughed about it on the way back.

Of course, with how severely his powers screwed with his mentality, the doctors and officers both agreed he should be discharged and sent right back home. Than again, he didn't exactly go home, considering there wasn't anything like that to send him to. Both his old apartment, and his parent's house were blown to shreds by a crazy tinker. After all, death got cheated out of Jack, so what better way to get back than to raise the bodycount and screw him over?

Well, there were probably way better ways to do it, considering he just ate the challenge up, and walked off whatever the thugs and punks threw at him. Knives, pipes and guns didn't do... Jack, against a guy who could regenerate as good as he did. Especially considering they would also have to deal with Martial Arts fury after they screwed with him. Armed or not, he still left plenty of people bleeding on the sidewalk if he had a good excuse. Even smaller time capes couldn't do much to him. In fact, his sword was just a really lucky turn of events involving someone who thought he was mucking up business.

Not too long after that, he met the one actual friend he can remember. Big Guy, had Gurman wrote on a nametag of a janitorial outfit. It took balls to wear something like that all the time, so Jack ended up sticking with him for awhile. It was one-sided conversations, but Jack figured someone who could vaguely respond to normal conversations was good enough for him. The warehouse was a decent joint to stay at, anyways. Even came with actual places to sleep.

Not too long after that, they ended up finding two college kids getting mugged, and easily beat them into the ground. The girl stopped them before it got lethal, going so far as to transfer Jack's amputation over to his body by accident. Though, an injury like that only served to make Jack laugh and want her in the group.

Things kinda just came together after that, and that's how the team got together in a warehouse.

.... Jack thinks to himself about how boring this place is if he's mulling over his whole origin story just to find something to do.

With oil leaking from the trucks, it would be that much easier to light the place on fire. So, Gurman shoved the trucks into the building and set them off by scraping two pieces of torn off metal from the cars themselves.

With all that done, Gurman got out of the building and started to walk back to base... Until he started to think it through.

For one thing, the blood all over Gurman is only going to put Rai in a worse mood. But another... Nothing was getting done with just one location at a time. And at that, the Merchants were after him. If they tracked him back to the team, it would be putting them in harm's way.

So, he didn't go back to base. He doubled down, and lept up to the top of the merchant building to see where the others ran off to, if they were still in view.

"Ok, so Natz, Merlin, i need you to do some preparations."

Natalie: "What kind of preparations ?"

She asks curious.

"Stuff like preparing some defenses for our base and look at what is happening in the world"

Natalie: "k"

Merlin nods.

Sun Wukong: "What should the rest do ?"

"Well, i dunno, do whatever you want i guess"

Sun Wukong: "YAY"

Blake: "We could go test the Virtual Reality Simulator."

Sun Wukong: "Wanted to do that too."

He says exited.

Joseph: "Like the idea"

I, Natz and Merlin head to the room of the center corridor, meanwhile the rest go to the VR Room and check the settings.
