Over the years, DC Comics has published a plethora of various one-shot graphic novels, ranging from YA stories to more grisly, mature tales; some have even been incorporated into the primary canon. At this point in time in its lifetime, given the seemingly endless catalogue of mainline DC comics, the Wiki pretty much requires that pages based off of DC Comics are properly cited, with references pointing to the run and the specific issue for each link as to ensure that everything can be fact-checked by the community.
With that being said, though, do these one-shots also have to be cited? Seeing as how, most of the time, the characters from these one-shots only ever have significant appearances in said one-shots, is it really necessary to cite the same story and the same singular issue for every link when it comes to these pages?
