I mean... she can just teleport out and laser him from Skyworld. There's no way Zeref is going to get close enough to beat a serious Palutena (she's pretty knowledgeable about pretty much everything due to being the expository character, so I doubt he'd catch her off guard since she also has in-depth knowledge of other franchises). Assuming she has access to all of Pit's auxilary powers as she does in Smash she could also transmute him into an eggplant or tempura and fry him on the spot.
