Allows one of Ainz's death spells/effects to bypass resistances and (in verse) immunities to Death manip
To further this it allows his death hax to effect things that have never been alive such as air, dirt, andriods, golems, undead ect.

it is but he's never going to get the chance to use it if slime has the range advantage, ainz victory requires him to be able to sit outside slimes range and test his defenses as ainz won't reach for tgoalid before he has his attacks absorbed/reflected. If slime can just insta gib/consume ainz this isn't a fight as ainz will never be able to respond before slime eats him. especially as tgoalid has a twelve second charge time.

While I feel confident in ainz ability to win with the current ranges it is entirely dependent on ainz cautious/paranoid personality and how in character playing the range game would be. Without that range advantage ainz cautious nature becomes entirely meaningless and this becomes a stomp

while Ainz's teleportation is greater then that, none of his spells that would be useful here have that kind of range, so Ainz would just be in range of Rimuru if he tries to attack, and gets absorbed or whatever

so i would say yes, it would be a stomp

First things first, Rimuru's only win con is with absorption. Assuming his corrotion inducement is acid-based, Ainz is resistant to that. Ainz can just use delay teleportation. When the spell notifies him that Rimuru intends to teleport to him, he can teleport away again before that happens. Though, that effect may not last forever thanks to reactive evolution, it will likely net him more than enough time to decide to use his trump card. Plus, he can resurrect if he makes a mistake, and his summons can draw attention. Ainz can completely conceal himself with Perfect Unknowable, which hides every trace of the user by making them invisible, removing sound and smell, etc. Basically, it removes all traces of the user. This will allow him to stay away from Rimuru even if he gains resistance to Delay Teleportation. Also, Ainz can set his staff to automatic attack mode and have it use Dimensional Lock on Rimuru while he teleports away. Though, he will only do that if he's about to be reached by Rimuru since he would hate for the staff to be destroyed.

Ainz was guildmates with a slime player named Herohero whose corrosion was powerful enought to destroy player-made items, and seeing as this unknown slime enemy is capable of far more than that, Ainz will know not to let him get close. Ainz can also use Freedom which is a buff that lets him resist high-level restraining effects and escape with teleportation and the like.

Why is corrosion inducement even mentioned here? Rimuru is unlikely to waste his time with that when he'll just be absorbing him.

unless specified by OP, Ainz does not have his staff

Rimuru's absorbtion tends to have corrosion with Dissolve from the slime species skills as Rimuru used against enemies a lot and from Decomposition/Decay (from Gluttony) which should scale to Geld's Chaos Eater from Starved One since the Starved One skill was absorbed to make Gluttony.

Ainz sacrificing his staff would also just make it worse, as it would just give him the power to use dimensional lock alongside the power to null it, although I doubt ainz would throw his staff at rimuru just because his life was in danger, is that not out of character?

Its out of character for him to even have the staff on him... The staff is sentient though him throwing it will have it fly around and teleport on it's own...

not when he uses TGOALID, he can't use anything else as it's counting down, meanwhile Rimuru would just be able to teleport right next to him and absorb him should his range be upgraded to Tens of Kilometers

IIRC after casting it against Cure, he went on to buy time for himself by casting other stuff.

Checking again, this happened:

His first objective was to buy time.

It would be bad if his opponent ignored everything and strengthened its defense, so he had to confuse his opponent. He did not think that his opponent, as one of the undead, would lose its cool, but if he could use a variety of attacks to make it forget about defending itself, all would be well.

At the same time, he dismissed ÒÇîShark CycloneÒÇì. He did not know if his timing was perfect, but Suzuki Satoru discovered a dog Zombie which had been staying behind Cure Elim all this time. It was far behind it, at a distance where he would not have been able to see if not for the keen vision he had gained after becoming undead.

"ÒÇîArmageddon - EvilÒÇì."

Darkness gathered around Suzuki Satoru and formed a swirling vortex.

Then, a gurgling sound came from bubble-like objects around him, and demons were born from the abyss.''

also checking, i just found this

The clock floating behind Suzuki Satoru's back beeped twelve-o'clock, and as the spell cast, its hands began moving.

Meanwhile Suzuki Satoru had already begun his preparations for the next step.

He would not give Cure Elim any time to strategize. This was the moment of truth. If he allowed Cure Elim to raise his defense by even a little, or if [Ia Shub-Niggurath] was disrupted, then it would spell defeat for Suzuki Satoru.

Certainly, he could have cast [Time Stop]. However, [Time Stop] had been ineffective against the Brightness Dragon Lord which he had fought before, which meant that it was very likely that it would also beuseless against the Dragon Lord Cure Elim's original body.

does this imply he could cast Time Stop while TGOALID counts down?

If so, then there's not much stopping Ainz from using TGOALID.

You mean how he easily absorbed Ifrit? You mean how he easily absorbed Gerudo? You mean how he easily absorbed the Infinite Prison, a High 4-C structure? That only happens if he intends to analyze the target too, and only if the target is far stronger.

Ifrit was fodder

Gerudo took some time for Rimuru to absorb

He needed years for the IP and even then he couldn't before getting his Ultimate Skills

Ifrit really wasn't. He just resisted his main form of attack, doesn't mean he was fodder.

It only took that long because Rimuru was getting in his head and wanted him to die peacefully.

No, it was literally his first absorption feat. He didn't destroy it, but he absorbed the entire thing, which is far above Ainz's capacity to resist. Rimuru absorbs and there's nothing Ainz can do.

Ifrit was caught off guard after Rimuru resisted his main attack

Rimuru's Predator was fighting Geld's Starved One

Rimuru only needed years to break the IP not absorp it

So if Rimuru managed to catch Ainz off guard like Ifrit then he could absorp him without much resistance

Okay, but was still comparable. Even if this "off-guard" is the case, then who's to say Rimuru isn't catching him off guard with this?

He only took that long to make Gerudo, once more, accept his death peacefully.

Once more, again, I said he did not destroy it, he only absorbed it. Please read.
