I gave aktrguser a warning message, and also deleted most of his reposted discussion threads, except for two that had gained a reasonable number of responses and were posted in different forums.

Our member @SR001 would really like to be allowed to come back to this forum and wiki.
He has promised to not post any more material that breaks the rules and regulations of our community, and will do his best to be as well-behaved as possible. He said that if he breaks our rules in the future, he will accept a permanent ban.
I personally think that we can reduce his ban period to at most a month or so.

The act was wrong but on discord he told me in DM that he wasn't aware that it is against the rules and as far I know him, he is not a bad person but is entirely new to the forum, for instance he wasn't aware that Qwased is staff even tho it was quite clear and was asking normal users to approve his crt. He asked me to do something but I told him just be honest and explain yrslf to Ant or Akm, I can't do anything about it. Which is what he likely did.
This is all there for me to say abt him...

Eh! An apology after trying to create multiple socks to get around the ban, which in itself is permabanworthy? If he had apologized before trying out different alts, I would have agreed. But given the situation now, I feel like a month is too lenient.

I am not trying to excuse his behaviors but if you look at other perspective side, he seems to be oblivious and have zero cognition in those regulations. Also, “sock” accounts topics, maybe he did not know that those are bannable offense since YouTube and Google also allow those. So ya.

Taking part in the wiki comes with the agreement that you follow the wiki's rules. If you don't read those rules and then proceed to break them, then that is all on you and is not excusable.

Yeah okay I'm changing my stance on this. Wasn't aware he had taken to using socks.
Taking Google and YouTube as examples in such a scenario would be a bad idea for him then, since those are gigantic corpos that don't give a shit about permanently getting rid of troublesome users unless you gain particular infamy for it.
Even if he is oblivious to how the wiki functions and to its rules in general, I don't see how his logic is justifiable. "I got banned, let's make other accounts to circumvent the ban" is not a display of ignorance, it's a lack of common sense.

I agree with this. Again, I am not trying to excuse his behavior, I am enlightening his perspective side.
Whether it is justifiable, wrong or right, it is upto yall to decide but he himself appealed and apologized to his lack of knowledge.
Again, I would not think of giving him a second chance, alone that sending pornographical material is extreme trolling. But he apologized and it is best to be open minded and critical.

Uh, he is saying that the message on his screen was displayed that you should contact DDM or Ant or smth, I don't know never have been banned before to know if something like this happens but he couldn't contact them with that account, so he made an account to contact them.

My point there wasn't saying that they should know the ToS, my point was that even if they're used to Google and YouTube shit, they should've been able to guess that a closer, more tight-knit and faaaaar smaller community with active admins =/= multibillion dollar corpo, right down to the rules on circumventing blocks being more strict. It's just logical.

He stated to me that he only wanted to use the sockpuppet accounts to get a chance to speak for himself and clarify any misunderstandings. He doesn't seem old enough to understand that this is not allowed. He gives a very clueless impression in general.

He should have either messaged you on community central or talked with people on Discord first, not attempt multiple socks let alone the ban reasons for each of those socks which I'm sure he gets Emails for those blocks being applied. And it's his fault for not breaking the rules and using Google is a terrible comparison. I might agree with shortening a ban, but based on what AKM reminded, a month is too lenient. Reducing it to like 3 to 6 months sounds more realistic I will say.

If that is true, he could have talked to me here when he contacted me on the wiki to get me to approve his sock. I even warned him not to create socks. He ignored it and proceeded to create another sock and approach me again to get me to approve it. It was after I approved it that I checked the new account was his sock. Before all this, he had already tried creating 5 more socks, excluding the two mentioned above and his original account.
