Why is Chara 2-B?

Pardon me if this has been asked before, but why is Chara rated as 2-B? Afaik she only performed a Universe+ feat by destroying the current Save file you had at the end of the genocide route.

Destroying a single timeline was already done in Asriel's fight, yet nothing happened, you could still reset back without any harm, while Chara's attack completely ruined the game. There was no save file to access, or any way to reset.

@Saikou doesn't that imply Chara deleted all your save files? That would just make him 2-C at best though since I don't see anyone making more than a 1000 saves per playthrough. Besides one could argue Asriel just destroyed a different timeline and Chara destroyed the main one.

Edit: Hmm this might belong in the Question and Answers section.

Shouldn't Chara be Tier 1-C, Low Complex Multiverse level? As far as I understand, the sixth dimension A Plane of All Possible Worlds With the Same Start Conditions. Chara can reset timelines as well as destroy and then recreate them. Each time they resets or recreates a timeline, the timeline can be and is slightly different. The start condition being the fall into the underground. Chara can destroy each of these timelines quite easily. If this does not apply due to the start condition of the fall into the underground not being the start of the entire undertale universe, then their power should at least be 2-A: High Multiverse level+ destroying many possible worlds. They do not just destroy a timeline, but can destroy multiple worlds.

In this case a world is just a timeline

@Prom Well not really. Chara mentioned having destroyed "the world" after they wiped all the timelines. So it's more like the Multiverse.

Yes, but as shown in the game, Chara can destroy several timelines. This means she can destroy alternate worlds, which is the fifth dimension, if not all timelines starting with the fall into the underground, which is the sixth

also what @Saikou said. that would be sixth dimension.

Well, it's still not anything higher than 2-B.

No...? Alternate worlds is the baseline of tier 2, nowhere close to High 2-A

What I'm confused about is the definition of the fifth dimension. From my research, I have gathered that the fifth dimension is all possible universes with slight, measurable differences from ours, the sixth being all universes with drastically different futures sharing the same past. So perhaps not sixth, but at least fifth, since Chara is not creating just timelines (a fourth dimension) within a universe, but entirely new universes.

It's very likely that the Undertale multiverse doesn't work that way. Even then, you would need to destroy the very fabric of the Multiverse for this to apply (Which likely isn't the case here)

In this wiki, we need proof of a Multiverse having higher dimensions than usual, since M Theory and the likes aren't widespread in fiction.

No Undertale characters has nothing to do with 5th dimensional universes

Asriel is 2-A only because he is literally "Infinite"

And he is portayed as the strongest

Well like said, technically, destroying the very fabric of the multiverse would be High 2-A, but it isn't likely to have happened here, so we simply rate by the amount of universes destroyed.

The only way that that could be High 2-A is if like, Chara literally destroyed the game, completely deleted, and reset your computer

Well, technically, for a 2-C to 2-A rating, the alternative 4-D universes/timelines are usually strung along a 5-D axis.

However, geometrically, the required 5-D space is unfathomably small, even for a countably infinite number of 4-D objects stacked on top of each other, which is why we decided to list High 2-A as a separate tier for comparatively much larger 5-D beings.

^Huh

Yes, Chara deleted all your save files, but also that of Flowey's that was overwritten by Frisk's. Flowey claimed to have saved, loaded and reset so many times he accomplished the achievements of several life times by performing almost every conceivable action to the point where he thinks nothing about killing Frisk one million times.

Has this question been properly answered, and if so, should we close this thread?
