This series of threads will make a massive overhaul to Bakis current profiles
This thread focuses on the first Manga: Grappler Baki
Yujiro Hanma
Yujiro's earthquake feat is a insanse outlierIn Grappler Bakis 2nd arc the flashback arc Baki is 13 and Baki is 17 in the first arc, so it's a 4 year flashback. In this flashback Yujiro has a feat of stopping a earthquake (the radiated waves) which we have at Town Level. The issue is that if Yujiro has insanse daily growth like were led to believe this 4 years youger Yujiro should be weak. 17 year old Baki/ his opponents should scale to this 4 years younger Yujiro.
Baki defends his title as champion every month, so the scene of Yujiro one tapping a heavily weakened Baki does not matter since it's a 1 month younger Baki then the Baki that fights Kureha.
Yujiro tries to open a door where he thinks Doppo is behind, but he's unable to open it due to his strength being matched and afterwards were immeditealy introduced to Kureha (meaning it was him behind the door). This is only 2 days before Yujiro vs Doppo (Kureha goes to the carnival immediately after ghosting Yujiro and the next day he performs a surgery, and on that day we know "tommorow" is the day of the fight). Baki and Kureha are implied to be equally matched, so with this we can see Baki isn't insansely behind Yujiro in the first arc. This would imply that Baki in his previous fights should be above the 4 years younger Yujiro and that his opponents (excluding Suedo because he didn't scale to Baki) like Kiyosumi, Kosho, Toba and Kureha would scale above or even way above the earthquake Yujiro.
These characters only have Wall Level feats and thus Yujiro's earthquake easily qualifies for a outlier: It's a insanely big jump, theres no justification for it and it breaks the previously established scaling.
Doppo Orochi
Doppo scales above Base Yujiro
The fight starts with Doppo sneaking Yujiro and Yuijro responds by jumping off the wall and attempting to elbow Doppo as they land, but Doppo escaped and kicks Yujiro who blocks and Doppo tries hitting him again. Yuijro blocks again and throws him, but Doppo uses the momentum to go for his own attack which is once again blocked and ends the first portion of their fight (evenly matched basically).
Yujiro then walks up to Doppo and dodges Doppo leading to a perfect counter, he does this via Udundi. Doppo responds to this by taking a stance (his own counter technique) and counters Yujiro's counter, and then Doppo hits Yujiro 4 more times. However Yujiro tanked everything and then goes all out against Doppo. Yujiro keeps hitting Doppo who can only block until he falls down, however Doppo gets up and starts to use the Sangan. Yujiro tries attacking Doppo over and over, but Doppo keeps coutering him and it's clear that he's winning now. Then it goes off screen and Doppo switches to his fast Karate Strikes that speed blitz Yujiro. Afterwards Yujiro is forced into the Demon Back and wins.
Prime Doppo isn't a thing
Currently the wiki has two keys for Doppo: Prime and Post Yujiro fight. Doppo having a "prime" and getting weaker afterwards comes from Chapter 55 where the narrator says Doppo "might" be in the last year of his prime, however the issue is that this has never again been stated or implied that he did get out of his prime and instead it's implied he got stronger. In the maximum Tournament it's stated he's been completed because he found the real Seiken and in Baki Rahen Baki says Doppo lied about withdrawing (Doppo quitting the Dojo), so there's not enough evidence to say Doppo got weaker and theres better evidence for him growing. Lastly we could very well still be in that "last year of his prime" we don't know how exactly into being 17 Baki was during chapter 55 and he's only become 18, we don't know if he's 19 yet and after he became 18 we stopped getting statements regarding passing time.
