I think it's fine to scale them above etherion. Narrative supports it, with etherion's statement of strength being deduced from "Can destroy a country" and Brandish can do the exact same thing via her statement as well.
On top of that, Gray said Brandish's power is like nothing he's ever sensed before, including Acnologia's Tenrou roar, which is canonically superior to Etherion. The only reason why this was originally scrapped was because of the skepticism of the scaling.
But with this line of logic, since it's confirmed that Wall is the weakest to a large degree since Mashima didn't even feel like saying the other members in the list but made sure that everyone knew that Wall was the weakest. Regardless of relativity, which he is relative, etherion should be on the level of the people blatantly decently superior, especially when he already backscales. Shouldn't be too much of a big issue.
