Actually forget the duplicate thing, I forgot that was Midora.

I do still think he could adapt to the heat at least somewhat

Most of Gourmet cell adaptation is only for environmental adaptation, plus stronger version of Toriko than this one is lost to Starjun who use flames as his offensive capability, although he broke Starjun sword before going down.
